Prof. Dr. Abdul Sattar Shaker Salman is an Iraqi academic specialising in Library & Information Science and Information Systems. He currently serves as Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at Al-Mansour University College in Baghdad.
He is the President of the Iraqi Association for Libraries and Information — one of Iraq's specialised professional scientific associations — through which he contributes to developing the libraries and information sector and to serving researchers and practitioners.
He previously served as Dean of Al-Mansour University College and has held several academic and administrative positions within the college. He is a member of the College Council, participates in editorial boards and peer-review work, and supervises the college's scientific and media publications.
